HousingStudents are free to make their own housing arrangements in Hangzhou. However, Thomas Jefferson School of Law has arranged for discounted student housing at the Dragon Hotel as well as two Chinese student residence facilities in Hangzhou. One or two apartments may be available as well. The Dragon Hotel accommodation is very comfortable, modern, convenient, and classified as a four-star hotel with many special services available to all students and faculty. The two student residence facilities offer simple and very basic accommodations with bathrooms on the floor. The Dragon Hotel accommodations include a room with two separate beds, bathroom, telephone, computer access with high-speed Internet, linens and towels, TV, central air conditioning, mini bar in the room, fax service at the business center which is equipped with advanced function facilities. Dry cleaning services are available (RMB 44 for clothes with a discount available for students). The hotel also has a complete-facility gymnasium, chess and card rooms, sauna, massage and lavipeditum, outdoor swimming pool and tennis court It is a four-star hotel, and for the price, you are getting a very good accommodation. Most students and faculty will be staying at the Dragon Hotel. Additional information about housing arrangements in China, including detailed instructions for making reservations and payment, and for help with finding roommates, will be made available to students who have registered for the China Program. Each residence has a very limited number of rooms available, so students are advised to make housing arrangements early. Students who elect to stay in China Program-organized housing will check in on Saturday, May 17 and check out on Saturday, June 7 (a 21 day stay). The discounted rates indicated below are only available for the duration of the Program, and students are required to pay for the entire 21 day stay in advance, even if students decide to travel on weekends. The cost is approximately RMB 458 per room per night. (i.e. $65.00 per room per night including a full breakfast for two.) If a student prefers a single, the cost is $ $1365.00 for 21 days including breakfast. If two students share a room with two separate beds, the cost is $682.50 for 21 days including breakfast.
