Application
and Fees
Applications for the China Program, including
letters of good standing for students at schools
other than Hofstra, are due no
later than February l5, 2008. Tuition
for the China Program is $2000 for up to four
credits, regardless of the number of credits
taken. The tuition includes a $250 registration
fee that is payable upon submission of the
application form, and is nonrefundable. The
remaining $1750 is payable
on or before March 3,
2008. Books and materials
are NOT included in the cost of tuition. Any
applicant not meeting this deadline may be
dropped from the Program. Items not included
in tuition are medical or travel insurance,
room and board, and transportation.
All students participating in the China Program
must obtain their own books through the Thomas
Jefferson School of Law bookstore. A book list
and information about ordering books will be
available in February. The book store will
deliver books to non-Thomas Jefferson School
of Law students. All students
in the China Program must bring these books
with them to China. Some additional
photocopied course materials will be distributed
in China.
